Our guided group hacks offer a different way to enjoy time with horses. Each outing has its own route, meeting point and riding requirements, with suitability and available horses checked before a place is confirmed.

Own a Pony Day combines two riding sessions and two horse-management sessions, with time to learn about caring for a pony. Existing riders and new visitors can enquire. We check the particular programme, rider suitability and available places before confirmation.

What to Expect on the Day
Own a Pony Day lets riders learn more about caring for a pony as well as riding. Activities may include grooming, tacking up and other horse-management skills, with guidance from the school.
Two riding sessions and two horse-management sessions are included. The particular programme may also include pony games and practical activities; we’ll confirm the day’s details when you enquire.
Tell us the rider’s age, experience, height and weight so we can check suitability. A yellow-taggable riding helmet, body protector and appropriate riding boots are essential. Ask us about equipment and fit before booking.

What to Expect on the Day
Please enquire before booking a hack. Tell us the rider’s age, experience, height and weight, and whether they can control a horse independently in a group. We assess suitability for the particular outing.
Follow the confirmed meeting point, arrival time and route information supplied for your booking. Different outings may take place away from the riding school.
A yellow-taggable riding helmet, body protector and appropriate riding boots are essential. Ask us about equipment and suitable fit before booking; do not assume that loan gear will be available.
